HOUR OF HONESTY!! When dealing with difficult people, we tend to get caught up emotionally, we stay in the web of feelings that cloud our judgment and we even become victims of our thoughts and justifications of our actions towards others that may be doing us wrong, hurting our feelings, talking behind our backs, etc. BUT God's word is so clear about how we should act towards others. I like how the passion translation breakdown this verse in Ephesians 4:2 "with tender humility and quiet patience, ALWAYS demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, ESPECIALLY toward those who may try your patience." <---- DID YOU CATCH THAT??? 1. ALWAYS ... 2. ESPECIALLY. Sigh!! Easier said than done right?
How about we take one step forward today? Be the bigger person. Show love, humility and compassion to someone that least expects it.
